CALISTOGA, Napa County — City government publishes a centralized CivicWeb portal where residents can locate Calistoga council agendas, supporting reports and public records. It offers a way to research what officials are proposing before a final vote.
Among the portal’s resources are a meeting calendar, searchable online library, archives of ordinances and resolutions, and subscriptions to agenda notices. It also links to applications for community boards, committees and commissions.
Why staff reports matter
A meeting notice tells residents what may be discussed. The agenda and attachments can explain financial considerations, legal authority and possible effects on neighborhoods. A scheduled discussion, preliminary staff recommendation or proposed ordinance should never be reported as final action without confirming the actual vote.
How to participate
Open the meeting calendar and locate the relevant agenda. Review the latest documents and confirm the meeting location, participation method and applicable public-comment deadlines. The city advises people who need verification of a record’s accuracy or currency to contact its City Clerk.
